Dear Sir/Madam

Vidyajey foundation

Dear Vidyajey foundation with grateful and thanks to the one who loves us and given us Spirit of success and encouragement (2 Timothy 1:7). On behalf of NOAH team and members I would like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude of thankfulness to you and team which cycled into your efforts and ability to accumulated into our projects and programs in Southern Kordofan (Nuba Mountains). In the last three years you have been very supportive partner to our journey that contributed into beneficiary of the local communities life improvement in various ways such as training courses in sewing and other school programs recently including tractor for agricultural schemes.

Apparently, last year we had provided extra 45 machines to increase the trainees in sewing industry programs. Therefore, we are expecting many numbers of widows to attend sewing training this year 2021. Having in mind that there are two sewing classes that have been classified as the beginners and advance group. Understanding that extra numbers of trainees required extension in everything starting with food supply during the training and sewing materials. That brought us into the point where we need extra staff and extra salary to be considered this year as well as plus extra classrooms and dormitories to accommodate students.

I would like to tell you the story of two Muslim women who came to sewing training course in NOAH centre in Irsalia-Umdorien. these two women have been hesitated to come to training indicated that the centre is runs by Christian people. And they do have in mind that Christian people are Haram (infidel) to associate with in any inform of social interaction. However, their chiefs have force them to come and learn something new and in return to help their follow Muslim women in the future. As result, the two women arrived in the centre welcomed but the manager Mr Moriss. During time in the centre, they were able to attend devotion every morning before the training start. And guess what both women were converted to Christianity. I got phone call from Moriss saying what can we do now these two women converted to Christianity and our fear is how they will be welcome into their community. I replied to him by saying as God had called them to be Christian, he is able to take care of them and that is not your problem it’s his problem.

And ofcourse you would have notes that during those years as mentioned above God has blessed the work among widows and orphanage children in the counties of Nuba Mts remote areas. Through your generosity of financial support, we were able to achieve what were not able to achieve before. In which we built extra classrooms for orphanage school that support to open since last year. However, it has been postponed due to insufficient resources to cover teachers and other necessary students stationery and uniforms. And that was the real delayed in opening the school, even though the classes are not enough to accommodate all out students. And therefore, due to such needs we were able to postpone the opening to meet these challenges first. And also issue of building materials logistics from Kadugli to NOAH centre in Irsalia-Umdorien. That was not the only matter that faced NOAH but food supply for the students informs local hospitalities such as sorghum, sesame and peanuts that help during the school terms if open. And recently our enrolled students according to acting principal is that they are expecting about 50 Muslim students to be enrol in our school. We don’t know what could happen, but we do trust in him (God).

However, we were able to hire some farms from local people to use it in generate some foods to cover sewing groups which increases in number every year. An in fact, we would like to thank you for being assisted with purchased of a tractor what will make better and quick and fast food and it will extend agricultural cultivation in making more food supply. Furthermore, after the purchased of tractor in Khartoum, it has been another challenge on how to transport it to Nuba Mountains which is about 8 hours’ drive from Khartoum. and it is impossible to drive tractor from Khartoum to Nuba Mountains for amount of 8 hours. Therefore, we have put this in a pray seeking God’s intervene in the situation in finding other option to transport the tractor and other equipment to Nuba Mts through hiring big track or two tracks dependent of the size and the amount of equipment.

Overall, we have nothing to say only to thank you for your continuation of support to the mission field in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan. Please do not hesitate to be in touch for further information if needed.

Sincerely,

Pastor Benjamin Angalo
