Reaching every home
through spiritual broadcasts

VidyaJey has always felt elated with the on-going relationship, prayer support, and financial partnership with 96five Family Radio Ltd in Brisbane, Australia. VidyaJey Foundation provides a full day of broadcast and online support to the ministry of 96five, yearly.

96five Family Radio is a Brisbane-based Christian community organisation, established almost 45 years ago. 96five broadcasts on the city-wide 96.5 FM frequency as well as on DAB+ in Inspire Digital format, online streaming, social media and as podcasts, with a monthly audience of over 400,000 people. It exists to bring 'experiences of God's love' in a format suited to engage both Christian and non-Christian listeners alike.

96five is also a necessary and effective channel to support and promote other Christian not-for-profit organisations, and societal causes such as homelessness, domestic violence, unwed mothers, pregnancy support, and overseas relief aid. 96five promotes a continual offer to pray daily for specific listener needs and regular messages of Christian counselling service availability.

These broadcasts make a real difference in the lives of the listeners, especially, for example, during the uncertain and disconnected COVID-19 period. In many cases, God has used the positive, uplifting, hope-filled music and messages of 96five to directly or indirectly intervene in suicidal situations and/or to affirm positive mental health.

"We greatly appreciate the relationship, prayer support, and financial partnership of the VidyaJey Foundation which provides a full day of broadcast support yearly to this ministry, which is primarily funded by donations from foundations, Christian businesses, like-minded listeners, and limited business sponsors." - 96five
